Michael D. Sweatman, President, Chief Executive Officer and Director, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has operated MDS Management Ltd., a Vancouver-based management consulting company, since November 1992. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and commerce from Simon Fraser University, gained his CA designation in 1982, and is a member of CPA British Columbia and the Yukon Territory. He has served as a director and officer of a number of public companies over the past 25 years and is currently a director and Chairman of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. (TSXV: NEV), a Director of Marifil Mines Limited (TSXV MFM) and Red Hut Metals Inc (TSXV ROB) formerly a Director of Mega Precious Metals Inc. (TSXV: MGP), which was in 2015 acquired by Yamana Gold Inc. (TSX: YRI), and Cortez Gold Corp. (TSXV: CUT), which was by Starcore International Ltd. (TSX SAM)

John R. Kerr, P. Eng.


John R. Kerr, P. Eng., Director, graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1964 with a Bachelor of Applied Science in geological engineering. As an exploration geologist his expertise is epithermal and sedex-hosted precious metal deposits in the southwest United States, strata-controlled gold deposits and porphyry copper/gold/molybdenum deposits of the western Cordillera, and volcanogenic massive sulphide (VMS) deposits in all areas of North America. Successful ventures include recognition and discovery of the Santa Fe gold mine, identification of the Calvada gold mine, and discovery of the Mindora gold/silver deposit, all located in Mineral County, Nevada. He is also credited with early identification of two VMS deposits at the Rambler mine in Newfoundland and recognition of the Frasergold deposit in British Columbia. Mr. Kerr has served as a director of numerous public companies and is currently a director of Quaterra Resources Inc. Canyon Copper Corp. and Bravada Gold Corp.

Warren Stanyer


Warren Stanyer, Director, has served in public companies since 1996, beginning his career in mineral exploration as an officer of Pioneer Metals Corporation (TSX: PSM), which was acquired by Barrick Gold Corporation in 2006, and later as an officer until 2007 of UEX Corporation (TSX: UEX). Mr. Stanyer served as President, CEO and a director of Northern Continental Resources Inc. (TSXV: NCR), which was acquired by Hathor Exploration Ltd. in November 2009, and in recent years as director of Alpha Minerals Inc. (TSXV: AMW), which was acquired in 2013 by Fission Uranium Corp. He is currently President, CEO and a director of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. (TSXV: NEV), and a director of ALX Uranium Inc. (TSXV: AL).

Kristian Whitehead, B.Sc., P.Geo.

Director and Vice President, Exploration

Kristian Whitehead, BSc., P.Geo., Director and Vice President, Exploration has served as a director of Eureka since July 2011, and has over 14 years of exploration experience, including over 2 years of minesite exploration. He has most recently worked as a consulting geologist for Teslin Resources Inc. (TSXV.TLR), Copper Creek Gold Corp. (TSXV.CPV) and Kootenay Silver Inc. (TSXV.KTN). Kristian has worked on several properties in the Yukon during his four years of employment with StrataGold Corp (TSXV.SGV) where he worked as a lead project geologist in the Dawson, Mayo and Watson Lake mining divisions. He has served as an officer of Fortunate Sun Mining Ltd., (TSXV.FSM) in 2012, and has consulted for Taseko Mines Ltd. (TSXV.TKO) at Gibraltar Mine, the Hunter Dickinson Group as project manager, and at Nixon Fork Mine located in Alaska as an exploration manager for Fire River Gold Corp. (TSXV.FAU.H). Mr. Whitehead worked on the Frasergold Property (FG) during Hawthorne Gold’s 2008 exploration year as lead exploration geologist and has been active with the property`s ongoing exploration program since. He owns and operates Infiniti Drilling Corp. which servicing clients with remote drill and exploration services in the Yukon, NWT, BC, AB, Sask, Manitoba and Mexico.

Brent Petterson

Chief Financial Officer

Brent Petterson, Chief Financial Officer, is a Chartered Professional Accountant and operates a private consulting company, MBP Management Ltd. Mr. Petterson spent 20 years in public practice with Wolrige Mahon, Chartered Accountants, and Amisano Hanson, Chartered Accountants, both based in Vancouver, B.C. He has extensive experience working with public mineral exploration companies and is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. (TSXV: NEV).

Christina Boddy

Corporate Secretary

Christina Boddy, Corporate Secretary, is a member of the Canadian Society of Corporate Secretaries and has acted as Corporate Secretary for a number of public companies in recent years, including Nevada Sunrise Gold Corp. (TSXV: NEV), Levon Resources Ltd. (TSX: LVN), Alexander Nubia International Inc. (TSXV: AAN), Resinco Capital Partners (TSXV: RIN), and Teslin River Resources (TSXV: TLR). Ms. Boddy acts as a consultant to public and private companies through Rhodanthe Corporate Services, a B.C.-based private company.

Doug Leishman - Advisory Team

Doug Leishman, P. Geo, FGAC, ARSM, BSc

In June 2015, the Company appointed veteran geologist and mining analyst Douglas A. Leishman, PGeo, FGAC, ARSM, BSc, to its technical advisory board. Mr. Leishman is a graduate of the University of London, Imperial College, where he attended the Royal School of Mines and completed a degree in mining geology in 1981. Early in his career, Mr. Leishman served in positions of responsibility at Canadian Superior Exploration and Esso Minerals Canada. Mr. Leishman was senior mining analyst of Yorkton Securities Inc. from 1990 to 2000, covering junior exploration companies primarily focused on exploration in the Americas; after Yorkton from 2001 to 2005 he was the director of geology and exploration for Endeavour Financial Ltd., a financial advisory firm focused on the mining industry. He has served as a director of Southern Arc Minerals Inc., Fortress Minerals Corp. and Terrane Metals Corp. He has been a registered member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia since 1994 and a fellow of the Geological Association of Canada since 1985.
